Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Zeus ("the App"), developed by Cognitive Squad Private Limited ("the Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Service Description

Zeus is a macOS desktop application that provides AI-powered meeting transcription, real-time Q&A, and intelligent meeting summaries. The App operates locally on your device with optional cloud-based AI processing for specific features.

3. Account Registration

Certain features require you to create an account via Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities under it.

4. Plans and Payment

  • Free Plan: Provides access to the Fast AI mode with a daily limit of 5 minutes.
  • Pro Plan: Unlocks Fast and Smart AI modes with 4 hours/day session time. Available as a monthly (₹1,000) or yearly (₹10,000) one-time payment.
  • Pro Plus Plan: Unlocks all AI modes including Thinking (deep reasoning). Available as a monthly (₹5,000) or yearly (₹50,000) one-time payment.

All payments are one-time purchases processed via Razorpay. Plans are valid for the purchased duration (30 days for monthly, 365 days for yearly). After expiry, you must manually purchase a new plan to continue accessing premium features. There are no automatic renewals or recurring charges.

5. Upgrades

If you upgrade from Pro to Pro Plus before your current plan expires, the remaining value of your current plan will be prorated and deducted from the new plan's cost.

6. Refund Policy

We offer refunds within 7 days of purchase if you have not substantially used the premium features. To request a refund, contact us at contact@cognitivesquad.com with your payment details. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days via the original payment method.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; use the App for any unlawful purpose; redistribute, sublicense, or resell access to the App; attempt to circumvent usage limits or plan restrictions; use the App to violate the privacy or rights of others.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including its design, code, AI models integration, branding, and documentation, are owned by Cognitive Squad Private Limited. Your purchase grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Meeting audio and transcription data is processed locally on your device. Only AI query interactions are sent to cloud services for processing.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality and environmental factors. AI responses are generated by third-party language models and may not always be accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cognitive Squad Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. No refund will be provided for termination due to violation of terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via the App or email.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
